Dear Mom,

Thank you is never enough words to show how appreciative I am of you. You have been my role model since day 1 and I honestly have no idea what I would do without you. I know you love me unconditionally no matter what. Sometimes I have no idea how you put with me or how you manage to be always be there for me. I know that no matter what you will always be there for me.

You would always come to athletic events, band concerts, and plays to support me. You always make sure I have what I need. You have made me into the young woman I am today and for that I am forever thankful. You always support me even if you disagree with my decisions. You let me learn from my mistakes and you are there for me and do not say "I told you so" when I realize you were right. You know what is best for me even if I do not agree with you. I am so happy that you are my mom because you make me happy. You pick the phone when I call no matter what time of day or night it is. You always somehow manage to put my needs above your own and I do not understand how. So thank you mom for always being there.

You have also managed to somehow put up with to daughters for 19 years. Whether or not my sister and I are fighting you still take care of us and put up with us. I know you enjoy having both of us under the same roof because that is very rare occasion.

I know I do not say thank you enough to you or say I love you enough but I do. I could never imagine my laugh with you. You mean the world to me. I'm so glad I get to have there for the big moments in my life. Thank you for supporting my choice of college, my choice of sports and activities in high school. Thank you for everything. I know recently I have really been just needing my mom and I know you are there whether or not we talk every day. I love you mom!!!

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
