Dear Daddy,

Thank you for being an amazing role model. Throughout the years, I have seen you sacrifice so much for mom, brother, and me. You taught me the importance of hard work, importance of setting goals, and striving to achieve them regardless of what it takes; that's something that I would have never learned or at least given a thought about.

Thank you for helping me stay grounded. Regardless of where we were or where we moved you always taught my brother and me the importance of sticking to our roots and the importance of family. You sacrificed so much for us and we would never be able to repay you.

Thank you for helping me in every step of the way whether it be telling me everything is going to be OK, or always encouraging me in my endeavors no matter how ridiculous they sounded. You highlighted my strengths and reminded me of them when I didn't believe in myself. You also identified my weaknesses and provided me ways to make them stronger. You always had a backup plan for all my goals and guided me in every step of the way. My success was your success and you made sure that I was always successful or at least aimed to be in all the goals I set.

Thank you for being you. You are always telling me to find someone successful as a role model and learn their story on how they got to where they are. But what you didn't know was you were and still are my role model. You always guide me every step of the way, and you made sure that I made plenty of mistakes because making mistakes is the only way to learn.

Thank you for being tough. For not giving me materialistic things when I wanted them, instead you taught me to work for them. You showed me that things in life aren't just handed to you, you had to work for them. Thank you for reminding me to do my best in every single task I took on, For reminding me that theres's someone out their in the world just like you with similar goals and passions, and that I had to out work them.

Truth is you aren't my father -- you're also my role model, mentor, and best friend. You were there for me when I was on top of the world and times where it felt like nothing was working out. Thank you for all you do for our family because without your hard work and dedication we wouldn't be in this position today. You're my dad, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
