First of all, thank you for impacting my life in such a positive way every single day. Being your teacher is not the easy job everyone seems to think it is. It's demanding, it's exhausting, and it's definitely not easy. However, I wouldn't want any other job. Being your teacher makes my heart happy.
When I first met all of you, you were approximately six months old, give or take. Although I wasn't your primary teacher when you were all babies, I still knew who you all were. I watched you learn how to sit up on your own, how to crawl on your own, and how to stand up and walk on your own. I listened to your sounds as they went from cries to coo's, to words, to even sentences for some of you now. I have watched you all grow and learn for almost your whole lives.
Now as your primary teacher as you are all in the toddler stage of your lives, I couldn't be more thankful for all of you. I am one lucky girl to have the opportunity to teach and inspire each and every one of you. I know that this age is a critical stage of your life. It's where you develop more language and put sentences together. It's where you begin to learn right from wrong. It's where you start to learn colors and animals and so many other exciting things. I couldn't be happier to help you learn and grow.
You are all some of the best people to ever walk into my life and I couldn't imagine my life without you. Even on my worst days, you never fail to make me smile with your cute faces, hugs, and laughter. Walking into the classroom and having all of your smiling faces run up to me with hugs ready is one of the best feelings ever. Thank you for always making me feel special and loved even on my hardest days.
The impact you have all made on my life is amazing. Some days, you are all the only reason I get out of bed in the morning. You have turned my tears into laughter and my frowns into smiles. You have given me so much happiness and joy over the year and a half I have known you. You have made me laugh so hard I cry, smile so hard my mouth hurts and sometimes given me so many kisses I catch your colds. Just know that I wouldn't trade any of that for the world. You can always come to me when you’re sad and I will help dry your tears. Comforting you is my job. Inspiring you is my job. Teaching you is my job.
I know you will all go so far in life and you will be amazing at what you become! You are all amazing little individuals who have left handprints on my heart forever. I love you all so dearly and I know the day will come when we may have to part, but please remember you'll always be in my heart.
