Coming to college can be very tough. You have to leave your high school friends, family, and hometown all at once. But, it is when we get to college that we meet some of the greatest friends. High school drama fades, and we meet people who share the exact same interests, laugh at the same jokes, and are there to help you through, the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Dear Best Friends,
It is impossible to believe that we spent 18 years apart. We all became friends instantly, and I am so glad we never had to spend a moment of college apart. I instantly knew that we were all meant to be friends.
We are over half way done with freshman year, and I believe that if we can make it through this, the rest of college will be a breeze. You are always there to make dumb decisions with me and always eat late night McDonald's.
Thank you for realizing the cure to anything is dancing like complete idiots.
Thank you for doing absolutely nothing but watching Netflix with me, and loving it.
Thank you for listening to me vent about every single thing in the entire word and not complaining, no matter how dumb.
Thank you for never letting me go out alone.
Thank you for always giving me advice, good or bad.
Thank you for making me laugh at stupid vines or hilarious tweets.
Thank you for encouraging me that one more slice of pizza is never a bad idea.
Thank you for always defending me, no matter what.
Thank you for always allowing your closet to be my closet, too.
Thank you for always gossiping about anything with me.
Thank you for already offering to be my bridesmaids.
Thank you for agreeing that wherever the future takes us, we will always be best friends forever. And for knowing our kids will be best friends, just like us.
I cannot say thank you enough. College would be unbearable without you. Thank you for being you, my college and lifelong best friends.
