We all have best friends we can tell everything too, and go everywhere with. I am grateful to have several of those, who I can call when I'm bored, but why call when I have three of the best listeners at home! That's right, I'm talking about my four-legged, furry friends. My pets are not only family, but they are my best friends.

To my pets, I just wanted to start off by saying I love you! Though two of you live inside with me, and the others live out in the barn, you each have a special place in my heart. Whenever I need some cheering up, or just some cuddles, you are all there to lend a paw...or hoof. Even though I can't cuddle with my 1000 lbs. plus horse, just giving you kisses is more than enough. Thank you for giving me endless love, and creating such special memories with me. All of you show your love in different ways, and I don't know how I would get my happiness everyday.

You each have different personalities, and it amazes me how each of you affect my day-to-day life. To the dogs, I don't know what I would do everyday if I didn't have you both running around the house all day, or throwing your toys around. It makes my day just watching you two, so thank you for the everyday amusement. And to my ponies out back, thank you for calling to me everyday when your hungry, makes me feel really wanted. I know, just for food.

Now, I know I am not the only one who talks to their pets like they can hear you. When no one else is around I'm always sharing my secrets to the dogs, or if I need to vent, they are there to listen to every word. Thank you to my pets for always having an ear ready for when I need to vent. I know you can't hear me, and I know this because you look at me like I have three heads, but I still talk to you like you know what I'm saying.

We all have those pets in out lives, big or small, that hold a special place in our hearts. I'm so blessed to have four animals, all different, who I can count on. Like they always say, a dog is a man's best friend.
