Dear Mom,
Where do I begin? You are just so special to me and one of the most important people in my life. You are to woman who gave me life, taught me life, and will be in my life no matter how hard I try for you not to be. You get on my nerves a lot, but I know it's for the best. You are a mother and I know that one day, I will know what it's like. You have been through a lot these past few years, but yet you still manage to stay strong. How? I wish and hope that I can be just like you when I grow up. You say I have my dad's attitude; which is true, but I have your compassion, your love, and your free spirit. I hope I can have the strength you have one day.
Sometimes I am even intimated by the way "you know everything." You know exactly know what to say when I'm upset or crying over a stupid boy. I try to give people your advice because it seems to always work for me when I follow it. Sometimes I even take credit for some of the things you say because it's just "that" good. The way you love God and trust him makes me want to be even more like you. You area leader and let a follower of Jesus Christ. I am so blessed to call you my mom. Thank you for all the times I've cried on you shoulder or needed a hug. Thank you for being my biggest supporter and best friend.
Thank you for all the time you have dedicated into taking me to my soccer games, school events and friends houses. I never realized until now about how much time you took away from yourself to make me happy. I don't think I can thank you enough for going out of your way to pick me up when I'm in a sticky situation and grounding me all those times I mad bad decisions. I know that you did it because you had to. You had to teach me a lesson the hard way and make me learn from my mistakes. You have made me into a woman, a good friend, a supporter, and over all a better person. I wouldn't be who I am without you mom. I am so honored to be your daughter and I will always be YOUR biggest cheerleader.
I love you.
