Dear Mom,
I am humbled and lucky to say you're mine. From when I was a young child to now, I have always considered you my best friend and a person I aspire to be someday. With your driven attitude and willingness to always help people, you're my role model. Whenever I have a large decision to make or am disappointed, I can always count on your advice. Also, if I need a good laugh or someone to share my crazy stories with, I can immediately turn to you. You always know how to have a great time and not take life too seriously. Thank you for everything you do and will continue to do. As I have gotten older, I have realized so many daily things you do for me that go unnoticed and I take for granted. I am so appreciative for all the small and little acts you do to help me.
Even though we don't talk as often while I'm at school, we have still managed to stay very close. Our daily phone calls and visits are something I am very grateful for. You have taught me so many important lessons which I hope to pass on to my kids someday. Thanks for always being one of my biggest supporters.
Whenever I am very proud of an accomplishment, I can count on you to be my biggest fan and a great motivating force. Whether the accomplishment is big or small, you always go over the top with how proud you are and how I should be proud as well. I hope to be as great a role model to my children someday as you are to me.
I am looking forward to sharing many more great memories together. Whether we are at the beach, going to a movie or just going for a nice long walk, I am so appreciative of the time with you. You have always put me first and let yourself and your needs come second. For that I am truly thankful. If you ever need anything, I will always be here for you.
I am so grateful to be able to have a close relationship with you. Even if you don't find a movie or show as interesting as I do, you will continue to watch it with me and let me talk for hours about how I much I enjoyed it. I appreciate all the times you have sat on the couch with me and endured my constant need to watch "Grey's Anatomy" and "One Tree Hill." Even though I know you do not enjoy my constant talking during a movie or television show, you never put up an argument.
Your bubbly and friendly personality and great work ethic are only a few of the wonderful characteristics about you. Thanks for being you and being a great mom. I am so happy to have you in my life. I do not know where I would be without you. I am excited to see what the future holds for us.
Xoxo,
Jess
