Dear Little,
One of the main reasons I joined a sorority was to gain a whole bunch of close-knit sisters. I grew up with one younger brother, with whom I am very close with, and I had always wanted a sister who I could be just as close with. A sister who I could share clothes and makeup with, go out to eat with, gossip with, and who could be my best friend.
Getting my big was the most exciting part of joining a sorority for me, since I could finally have the sister I always wanted. An older sister who I could look up to as a role model. After being in the sorority for a year as the youngest sister in our tree, I was finally ready to be that role model for someone else and take a little of my own.
I met you on Bid Day, and knew right off the bat that I wanted to get to know you more. It was pretty scary taking a little, since so many other people were too. I was scared that I wouldn’t find anyone who I clicked with. I’m so glad we got to know each other soon after you became a sister, bonding over our love of Lululemon and Starbucks. Our friendship formed quickly, and it only got better from there.
I am so thankful to have you as my little. You are truly the little sister I never had but always wanted, especially since we are the exact same person. You are my therapist, and I can complain to you about absolutely anything. You never fail to give me the best advice that comes straight from your heart. You are my second closet, and I’m so glad we are the same size clothes because you have a much better style than me. You are my wingwoman, and are always there to help me step up my game when we’re out. You are my coffee buddy, and are always up for going to Starbucks with me and aiding in my coffee addiction. You are my motivator, and always pick me up when I'm down and help me push forward. Your support in all that I do means the world to me!
Aside from wanting a little sister who looks up to me, I 100% look up to you. I admire you for your perseverance. You've endured quite a lot in your 19 years of life, and you came out a stronger and better person. You make me want to grow as a person to become the best version of myself, and I think that's the true meaning of a best friend.
I can’t imagine not having you in my life, for you have become my best friend so quickly. I can’t wait to watch you grow and succeed during the rest of your college years. I know you're destined for great things in the future, and I'll always be on the side lines cheering you on like the mom that I am. I am so thankful for the bond that we share, and I know you’ll be my little sister and best friend forever.
I love you lots,
Biggie
