Dear Kids,
You haven't known me very long, but all of you have already told me how much you love me. You tell me I'm your favorite teacher. All of you make it a point to play with me and hug me every single time you see me and that makes me feel so special. One of you even drew me a picture yesterday and it's hanging up on my fridge. I love being your teacher and I think I have the best job in the whole wide world. As I am writing this, I am anxiously waiting for it to be time for me to get to go to work so I can see all of you!
Since working at this daycare in the preschool and toddler rooms, I have become much sweeter, nicer, energetic, and playful. These are things I never thought I could be. Thank you for giving me the energy I didn't know I had. I've learned how I want to raise my own future children; with nothing but love and kindness. You've proven to me that no one has to yell to get your attention or scold you to get you to listen. As a matter of fact, you've also inspired me to become a Montessori preschool teacher. That's something I never thought I would want or would be good at, but now it's all I can think about. I want to feel like this all the time.
I love coming up with lesson plans, teaching you Spanish, reading to you, and doing art projects with you. It brings me joy to see you learn something new and it makes me so proud of you. I don't think I could be any prouder of you if I was your parent. I'm so glad I made the decision to apply for this job on a whim because this is much more than work to me, it's very quickly become a passion. So, thanks, kids. I already love you as much as you love me.
Love,
Miss Hanna
