I've been lucky enough in life to always have friends. Sadly I didn't meet most of my real friends until I came college. I have met some of the most amazing women who have done everything in their power to help me when I was down and to smile with me when I was happy. They showed up at different times and I never expected any of them. Thank y'all for being amazing.

Dear best friends,

Congratulations! You've made it through being not only my friend, but my best friend (something that I imagine isn't easy to do). We have made it through hell and back and I coundn't thank y'all enough for helping me, pushing me, correcting me, and encouraging me. Thank you for being there for me during heart breaks, when I'm stressed, and when I'm happy. My favorite memories involve you in one way or another. I couldn't have done my first year of college without y'all. Thank you for putting up with my craziness, my loudness, my cockiness, my dramatic mess of a life, my bad jokes, and my corny pickup lines. We will forever be bonded, not by blood, but something greater. Some of you I might not see or speak to every day, and others I see too many times a day, but no matter how often you are my best friend. And I hope I can be there for you just as much as you are there for me. We are all meant for something more important than we think we are and I know we will do it hand in hand. I love you with all my heart! Thanks for being my family.

Love,

Your crazy, loud, obnoxious best friend

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
