Dear future wife,
First of all, I want to say I’m blessed to have someone as amazing as you in my life. To have someone who listens to my every word. To see the love in your eyes when I glance across the table at dinner. I’m blessed to feel the warmth in your hands as we walk across campus and that smile on your face every time I look at you. You always tell me everything is going to be OK when my world feels like it's falling apart. You stay strong for me and I know you truly love me.
Secondly, I want to say I’m here for you. When you’re at work spending countless hours scanning groceries, I want you to know I’m here when your boss stresses you out or that customer is complaining. I want you to know that when you’re in class stressing out about a test, I'm at Starbucks buying your favorite drink just the way you like it to make your day better. When you are in pain and not a single bit of medicine will help, I’m here to hold you in my arms until the pain goes away. Please know that no matter where you are, or where I am, I will always be here for you.
Third, I want to say I’m sorry. I’m sorry I didn’t find your love sooner. I’m sorry I was oblivious to every time that you flirted with me or you texted me smiley faces. I’m sorry I didn’t see the reason why we talked on the phone until 2 a.m. I should have seen that every time you sat next to me and asked me to eat lunch with you, you were looking for my love. After two years, you think I would have noticed, but I’m sorry to say I didn’t.
Finally, I want to say I love you. I love you for everything you do. I can never get enough of your cute little laugh you make when I tickle you, or the way you smile whenever I compliment the way you look. Every little action you make brings my heart closer to you. I love your personality. The way you fight for what you believe is right and the way you speak when you’re nervous. I love every bit of it. How could I ever forget your beauty? The way your eyes shimmer in the light or your cheeks blush when I compliment you. You are absolutely stunning. I could never find someone more perfect for myself. My love for you will never end and I want you to always remember that. I still replay the day I made the best decision of my life. The day I got down on one knee and asked you to be my wife. There is no feeling that could ever compare. I was so nervous, but I knew I want to spend my life with you and that will never change. You are my everything and I can’t wait to say “I do” at the altar and start the next chapter in our lives.
