First off, I love you so so terribly much. I love you more than any boy ever could. Someday a man will come into your life and see what I see in you every single moment of every single day and this will all be worthwhile.
I am so sorry that I couldn’t have stopped this sort of thing from happening. If I could take any of the heartbreak you are feeling and put it on myself, I would in a heartbeat. I hate that you have to go through this and I hate to see you have to go through it. It actually breaks my heart, too.
You are worth so much more than what he is giving you. Not only that, but you are worth so much more than anything you’ve been given all along. You’re the kind of woman who deserves a man who does anything and everything to make it work, and supports you in anything and everything that you do. You deserve a man who wipes away your tears, not causes them. You deserve a man who puts you first, who needs you in his life. I cannot wait until the day that you are celebrated the way you deserve to be celebrated.
I am sorry that you have to deal with rumors being spread about it. Only people as little as the one starting the rumor will believe them, so try not to be upset by them. Break-ups happen and naturally, people who have nothing better going on in their lives are going to gossip. You are amazing so why wouldn’t people want to talk about you?!
I know that your strength will only continue to grow through this experience, and I know that you will be just fine, but that doesn’t make seeing you go through this any better. Please remember how wonderful you are. You inspire me every day to be a better person, and you really keep me going when times get tough. I am sorry that the cards don’t seem like they were in your favor at this point, but in the long run, they were. Now you get to make decisions based solely on your own goals and wants and needs. Now you don’t have to put someone first who doesn’t put you first. Now you get to focus on you, and continuing to grow into the person that I will always admire. I love you more than you’ll ever know.
