Dear anyone I've ever called a friend,

You've all impacted my life in some way, good or bad. I don't think I would be the person I am today if it wasn't for all of you. The experiences I’ve had with you, the things you've taught, they've all shaped me somehow.

To the friends who are no longer in my life, thank you for the time we spent. For some of you, all we did was grow apart, and that's okay. Life has different plans for us. The friendship we shared is something warm that I’ll cherish forever. For some of you, we ended on bad terms. Maybe we fought, maybe we ended up hating each other, maybe we just stopped talking abruptly. You guys taught what not to do in a friendship and helped me see the toxic people in my life, so thank you.

To the friends I’ve had for as many as ten years, I can't imagine my life without you anymore. You've been constants in my life for so long that I rely on you a whole bunch. You've been by my side through all the good and the bad, and I cannot thank you enough. I am who I am today because of those friendships that we formed so young.

To the friends I’ve just made, you came into my life at the perfect time. You've helped me more than you could possibly know. I needed your support and you gave it, no questions asked. Thank you for your love. I don't think I could've made it through the stresses of this year without it.

Friendship is something that makes the world go round. Whether we acknowledge it or not, oftentimes the friendships we make can be stronger than even our relationships and can sometimes be better for us. Friends give us shoulders to cry on and people to listen to our rants, and our lives wouldn't be the same without them. I don't know how I would've survived if I didn't have the strong bonds that I do.

I’m going to leave you with this quote, said by unknown -- “Friendship is like peeing your pants. Everyone can see it, but only you can feel the true warmth it brings.”

Thank you, to anyone I’ve ever called a friend, for being the pee in my pants.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
