So maybe online school is not what you planned from the start. I mean, no one was probably sitting at their high school graduation singing the "Education Connection" theme song, super psyched to take online classes. Or if you were you were one of the few, you understand that life sometimes gets in the way and you have no other option but to complete college online. Here are 10 ways online college is better than traditional classrooms.

1. It's flexible if you have a full-time job.

I mean, after all, you do need money to pay for school. Also, if you live on your own, you have plenty of other bills too. Plus, the benefits of a full-time job, as opposed to a part-time, are amazing. With online schooling, you have the time to work around your schedule.

2. It's flexible if you have children.

If you have kids but still want to reach your goals, online schooling is a great way to do things. After the kids fall asleep, before they wake up or while they are outside, you can log in and do what you need to do. The best part is that as long as deadlines are met, there isn't any required amount of time you have to be logged in.

3. Attendance doesn't matter.

For my whole life, attendance has been a big problem for me. In high school and even college, even if you have an A in the class, if your attendance is poor you could fail. How that makes sense? If I can not be in class and still have an above average grade, but students who come to class every day are failing, then something's probably wrong with your teaching system

4. You don't have to socialize as much.

Although most of the time I am a people person, when it comes to school, I am absolutely not! I hate that if I want to move forward but someone else is still confused 45 minutes later, that I have to sit there and wait. Or when you have the one person in each class (if you can't think of who it is, then it's probably you) that answers every question the teacher asks or raises their hand to share a story about something no one else cares about. With online schooling, the only one who might bother me is my cat.

5. You're free to eat whatever you want for lunch.

My favorite part is no more cafeteria food! Your school goes where you go! So what are you feeling today? Panera? Starbucks? Even Mcdonalds offers a spot to sit with free wifi!

6. There's no rushing from class to class.

There's no need to check your phone 6 times and barely have time to pee before heading to your next class because there are no mandatory times you have to log on! You log on whenever you can and finish at your own pace, which could be weeks early or a little late.

7. You don't have to take more than one class at a time.

Unlike normal universities, online classes are one class at a time for 5 weeks at a time. It's so much better than taking 4 or 5 classes in a semester and dealing with the hassle of remembering homework and projects for each of these classes at once.

8. You'll have more "me" time.

I can maybe now find some time for me without having to take night classes 4 nights a week after working 8 to 5. I can finish up my assignment while getting a pedicure if I wanted to. I can eve have my work done that I could go to bed at a decent time! No more all-nighters? Could it be possible?

9. You'll have more family time.

As well as "me" time, I will be able to spend more time with my friends and family. Many couples are forced to not see each other due to working different shifts. I used to work all night shifts while my boyfriend worked all day shifts and we only saw each other for about half of the weekend days before I had to go to work or school at night. With online classes, I am able to get a full-time job that allows me to work day shifts.

10. You're on track to a faster graduation.

With online classes, I am able to complete classes at my own pace, which means I could complete more than 5 classes a semester depending on multiple factors. But with that in mind, it could lead me to a faster graduation. Who wouldn't want that?

Although online classes were never my first choice, I am a big fan now! There are so many pros to online classes that I was never aware of. It is an amazing opportunity for people who want to finish school but feel like they just have no options.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
