10 'One Tree Hill' Quotes For Instant Inspiration

You're lying if you claim you don't search for inspirational quotes for...well, inspiration. Some of the best of these quotes come from the show One Tree Hill. All the seasons taught us lessons we will never forget, and also helped us gain a perspective of life that made it all the more inspiring.

Here are some to remind you that everything will be okay:

1. "We could all use a little hope, you know? The feeling that everything is gonna be okay, and that someone is there to make sure of that." (Season 3, Episode 22)

2. "I realize now that when your heart breaks, you got to fight like hell to make sure you're still alive. Because you are. And that pain you feel? That's life. The confusion and fear? That's there to remind you, that somewhere out there is something better, and that something is worth fighting for." (Season 2, Episode 22)

3. "If you had a friend you knew you'd never see again what would you say? If you could do one last thing for someone you love what would it be? Say it. Do it. Don't wait. Nothing lasts forever." (Season 9, Episode 13)

4. "Until you face all the mistakes you've made, you'll never change." (Season 4, Episode 1)

5. "You can choose to blame your circumstances on fate or bad luck or bad choices. Or you can fight back. Things aren't always going to be fair in the real world. That's just the way it is. But for the most part, you get what you give. Rest of your life is being shaped right now. With the dreams you chase...the choices you make and the person you decide to be. The rest of your life is a long time. And the rest of your life starts right now!" (Season 5, Episode 2)

6. "Life kicks you around sometimes, it scares you and it beats you up. There's a day when you realize you're not just a survivor, you're a warrior. You're tougher than anything it throws your way." (Season Four, Episode 14)

7. "There are moments in our lives when we find ourselves at a crossroad, afraid, confused, without a roadmap. The choices we make in those moments can define the rest of our days. Of course when faced with the unknown, most of us prefer to turn around and go back." (Season 4, Episode 2)

8. "And when you find yourself lost in the darkness and despair, remember it's only in the black of night you see the stars." (Season 3, Episode 15)

9. "So, I've been thinking about this whole being happy thing, and I feel like people get lost when they think of happiness as a destination...We're always thinking that someday we'll be happy; we'll get that car or that job or that person in our lives that'll fix everything. But happiness is a mood, and it's a condition, not a destination. It's like being tired or hungry, it's not permanent. It comes and goes, and that's okay. And I feel like if people thought of it that way, they'd find happiness more often." (Season 8, Episode 8)

10. "So don't be afraid to make mistakes. Stumble and fall because most of the time, the greatest rewards come from doing the things that scare you the most. Maybe you'll get everything you wish for. Maybe you'll get more than you could have ever imagined. Who knows where life will take you. The road is long and in the end the journey is the destination." (Season 3, Episode 15)

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
