According to TSM, we sorority girls never outgrow the Disney phase.
While this is an undisputed fact (who else would get as excited for Disney Princess weekend on ABC Family?), what if Disney princesses were the sorority girls? Who would they be?
1. Cinderella – This is the sister that loses everything, and I do mean “everything.” From her laptop charger to her favorite black North Face jacket (the same one half the chapter owns), the sorority house is strewn with her things; you have to move her stuff to sit on the couch. Any time, day or night, she’s always asking if you’ve seen *insert most recent lost-and-found item here*. It’s a good thing she has her sisters – without you all, she’d probably never make it to class on time (her shoes always seem to just disappear right around 11:59 p.m.).
2. Sleeping Beauty – This is the sister who always manages to oversleep her morning classes. No matter how many alarms she sets for the morning (and believe me when I say the whole sorority house hears all 23 of them), she never manages to get up before her class starts. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, you can find her running around at 9:12 a.m. and rushing out the door to her 9 a.m. class, usually to the tune of “Once Upon a Dream.”
3. Ariel – This is your chapter’s Song Chair. She won the election because of her voice, which is literally the voice of angels. When she’s teaching your new members songs for recruitment, their jaws drop, and everyone knows it’s her when they hear singing in the shower. Though she’s pre-med, she’s also got the lead in the latest production of the UK Opera (no one else even tried out for the part when they found out she was auditioning). Oh, and she’s dating an AcoUstiKat; of course she is.
4. Belle – This is your chapter’s VP of Academics. She always has her nose in a book. Always. She’s also the queen of all-nighters; she stays at the library 'til all hours of the morning, studying for tomorrow’s test and writing that paper due Friday. She’s basically a genius and probably has one of the chapter’s highest GPAs. Also, she can’t wait to study abroad, probably in the south of France. “I want adventure in the great wide somewhere. I want it more than I can tell...”
5. Jasmine – This is the sister who’s obsessed with cats. When she got her first off-campus apartment, she adopted a kitten that looks just like a tiger (stripes and all). You can also always count on her when you have a bad day. You know all of those Cute Emergency posts about cats (cats sleeping, cats in bowties, cats photobombing, you name it)? She re-Tweets all of them. All. Of. Them. That’s hundreds of tweets every day. Her iPhone wallpaper? Yeah, it’s a collage of hot men holding cats, typical.
