December has arrived and that means time to bundle and stock up on hot chocolate, slippers, menorahs, trees, dreidels, ham, and so on. But wait, it also means that for college students, the end is near...both in terms of the semester and confidence because of final exams are approaching. Dreaded by a majority of college students, these exams are given because professors have sovereignty over us and will use the power of multiple choice, short answer, and essay to make sure students have gained in the knowledge over the past 3 months and because they just have to. So to get in the spirit of this time of year, here is a new twist on a beloved song.

On the 12 days of Finals, my true love gave to me.....

12 page final papers

11 broken pencils

10 Cups of Red Bull

9 books to read from

8 seconds of studying

7 hour all-nighters

6 Trips to Starbucks

5 TESTS TO TAKE!!!!!! (UGH!)

4 Hours of Netflix

3 Broken Binders

2 Tests in one day

And a big, painful, and long headache!

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.
