With the return of the television season at the end of January, we all know we cannot wait to forget about our responsibilities and travel on over to Shondaland (aka heaven) and pick right back up with Liv and all her Scandals.

Olivia Pope is the baddest gal on Capitol Hill. Seriously, could the White House even run without her? She is driven, assertive, incredibly intelligent, not to mention a total 10. Along with Olivia's talent for covering up scandals, she is in love with two different men: President Fitzgerald Grant and Captain Jack Ballard. But who should she be with?

Reasons you should love Fitz:

Their chemistry. Oh, my gah, I have never seen something so compelling. Honestly, I would be totally and completely be under his spell.

He was going to give up the presidency for her. If that is not love, then I don't know what it.

He built their dream house in Vermont. That was the most precious and wonderful thing he could have ever done for her.

He always tells Olivia exactly how he feels. Whether he is mad and upset with her, or showering her with affection, he does not shy away from his words.

Jake is part of B613 and he is in command. I don't know about you, but I would not really want to be with someone who tortures people for a living. Who knows what all emotional damage that has caused him.

Liv wants "painful, difficult, devastating, life-changing, extraordinary love." Man, does she have it with Fitz.

Reasons you should love Jake:

Standing in the sun. Who doesn't want to stand in the sun? If Olivia doesn't want to go, don't worry, I volunteer as tribute. Jake said he would give everything up for her and run away, and he followed through with his promise.

Jake is kind and he would move mountains for Olivia, not tear her down. Olivia's love for Fitz has done nothing but hurt her and drive her crazy.

Fitz is way too controlling. If he actually loved Olivia, he would let her go and be with Jake. After all, he is freaking married. Fitz is incredibly selfish; he wants to have his cake and eat it, too.

 Jake is in command. He is not afraid of the responsibilities that come with being one of the most powerful men in our nation, and he  is not afraid of the president. To most people, the president is a very intimidating man, but Jake is never afraid to stand up to him.

Jake doesn't pressure her into decisions. He always lets her have space.

Jake is good for Liv. He wants what is best for her, no matter the cost.

Which ever mega hottie you choose to side with, we can all agree, Liv has the best options anyone could have. Hopefully, she comes to a conclusion this season, so that she can put us all out of our misery that is the Fitz-Jake-Olivia love triangle.

But let's be honest, she probably won't pick, and we secretly love the back and forth.
