The Official Netflix Summer Binge List
Tech Crunch

Ah summer, a wonderful time full of ways to entertain yourself. You could make plans and go out, or you could do what we all do and watch as much Netflix as possible. If you do chose the Netflix route like I do, then here is a masterlist of what you need to check out this summer.

1. "Criminal Minds"

This shows follows the lives and cases of the members of BAU (behavioral analysis unit) at the FBI. They track and hunt serial killers by decoding their behavior. There are 11 seasons and 10 of them are on Netflix as of now. You can expect season 11 soon! It's suspenseful, dramatic and full of mystery-don't worry it's not too gory!

2. "Orange Is The New Black"

This is a Netflix original and it's a crowd pleaser. This show takes place inside a women's prison and is full of laughs and drama. I haven't met a person yet who doesn't love it. It may not seem like it's your genre but just give it a try!

3. "Grey's Anatomy"

All 12 seasons are on Netflix!! If you weren't aware Grey's is all about doctors, attractive doctors. Every episode has a different medical case that always keeps you on your toes, not to mention all the hot doctor drama.

4. "Vampire Diaries"

Cute boy alert! This show is full of hotties! It takes place in a small town full of mythical beings, vampires, witches and werewolves. A young girl finds herself in the middle of it all. Total binge worthy, and very un-twilighty.

5. "One Tree Hill"

Join the bandwagon. All nine seasons of it. Nathan and Lucas are both the sons of local basketball star Dan Scott, but only one has him for a father. This show follows both boys and their friends through high school, and into their adult years.

6. "90210"

A family moves from Kansas to Beverly Hills, quite the change of pace. This series shows their adjustment to life in their new school and what unravels from that point on. (Also more cute boys).

7. "Gossip Girl"

The Upper East Side of NYC is full of drama, fashion and wealth. An anonymous blogger has been following students for years posting their secrets, will they ever find out who it is? And will they make it through high school? Join the fun and find out, all six season are available.

8. "Scandal"

This is a personal favorite of mine. Olivia Pope runs a private law firm, she helps clear people's names and while doing it gets highly involved in political scandals. Not only this but she's sleeping with the President. It's full of suspense and crime-mostly political.

9. "The Office"

a light hearted comedy that follows the lives of everyday office workers. With cast members like Steve Carell and James Spader it's sure to keep you laughing for weeks, or days depending on fast you binge.

10. "Friends"

WIthout a doubt the best sitcom to ever grace our tv screens. With 200 episodes full of laughs and sarcams from a group of 20-something-year-old friends living in New York CIty, you'll never want to turn it off. Soon you'll feel like they're your friends.

11. "The Secret Life of the American Teenager"

This is my guilty pleasure tv show, it's totally lame but I love it. A girl finds out she's pregnant on her first day of high school. The shows captures her life and those around her as she struggles with being a teen mom and finding love.

12. "Glee"

It's like "High School Musical" but grown up. A bunch of singing losers who are misunderstood but find safety with each other. They cover popular songs in every episode so if music isn't your thing skip this one.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
