Hungover from the night before, Mrs. Powercouple groans at the sound of her phone stomping within her skull. Without having to look at the screen she already knew who's timing would coordinate so inconveniently to her bad decision making. She answers, "Hey mom" in a grunting half-asleep tone. "Hey, you didn't forget that we had an appointment to get a flu shot today did you? Are you still asleep?" Her mom replies in a worried tone. 

  "Yea I didn't forget, but I'm starting to think that I shouldn't do this." Stretching out her grunt into her normal voice, Mrs. Powercouple is forced awake. "Noooo" Her mother dragged on then continued. "Statistics show that the majority of people don't get the flu after getting the flu shot. C'mon don't do this. I'm coming to your house now so be ready by the time I get there." "Fuck statistics" Mrs. P mumbled underneath her breath in a tone that her mom couldn't comprehend, then replied. "I'll be ready, just call me when you're here." 

  Walking into the clinic, Mrs. P takes approach in a nervous demeanor. Not only was she anxious about volunteering to inject her body with the same sickness that kills people, but also wasn't too excited about the needle either. Taking a seat next to the nurse who already had the murder weapon prepared and ready to pierce through her skin. Reading her body language, Mrs. P's mother reminds her to relax and not tense her muscles. Looking over her shoulder she replies, "I am a grown woman". Laughing the nurse looked for no clarity before ramming the needle in her arm.  

   Sitting in the waiting room, Mrs. Powercouple started to feel the injection work it's way throughout her body. "I can feel it in my fingers. I feel like I'm turning into a zombie right now mom. Can we leave?" Finding her reaction amusing, Mrs. P's mother begins to laugh while together motioned their bodies toward the exit. "Is it a bad sign if she starts foaming from her mouth?" Her mom sarcastically remarks toward the clinic greeters. "No that's completely normal" they replied jokingly. Taking a few more steps Mrs. Powercouple turns around and says in an awkward out-of-place manner, "It won't be funny when I start eating people".
