Pizza.

The word alone is enough to put a smile on your face. You think about the cheesy deliciousness that you can get literally anywhere in the country. As one of the heaviest countries in the world, it is no secret that we as Americans love our pizza. While you really don't need a reason to like pizza, I will be sharing with you the reasons why I love pizza.

One reason why I love pizza so much is because there are pizza places all over the place and it is always readily available. Now I know you may be thinking that there are lots of foods that are readily available.......but it's not pizza so it automatically is not the best option. Everyone has their favorite pizza place that they will always put above all other pizzas, and there is something about that level of commitment that really shows how seriously people take their pizza.

Second reason why I love pizza is its simplicity. At its most basic, pizza is dough, mozzarella cheese, and tomato sauce. It doesn't take much to make it, but it does take a lot to make it right. Especially because some people are very picky about their pizza. Some people prefer it simple like cheese, while some prefer something crazy like meat-lovers, or my personal favorite buffalo chicken. Pretty much as long as you're not doing something crazy like putting fruit on pizza, your pizza is probably delicious. *Only communists put pineapple on pizza.*

The third reason I love pizza because it brings people together. Have you ever really had a bad time going to get pizza with your friends or family? That's because there is no such thing as a bad time at a pizza place. You walk in and all of your problems melt away ... like cheese on pizza. My family has a tradition of getting pizza every Friday night to celebrate the end of the week. We all have hectic schedules so we don't always get to eat together. Our Friday pizza dinners give us a chance to catch up on how each other's weeks were while we enjoy delicious cheesy pizza.

Now there may be some people out there who do not enjoy pizza. For that I am sorry. Maybe you just have not found the right our yet to Make You fall in love. We all have that one special pizza that changes our opinion on pizza forever. For example, mine is buffalo chicken with blue cheese, my life was never the same after I found that pizza. So for those of you out there who think you'll never find that special pizza pie, don't worry it's out there.

I hope you all have enjoyed this article. If you didn't enjoy this article ... I hope the cheese on your next pizza sticks to the roof of the box.

Your truly,

Ryan Jordan

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
