Couldn’t find out which way to go.

I tried for your attention but I was too slow.

I didn’t know what to say.

When I finally did it was too late.

I still don’t know what wrong.

So here I sit writing you this after so long.

I know I messed up but you did too.

I honestly still love you.

I shouldn’t care, my dear,

But it’s hard not to when I had you for years.

You made me smile when I was sad,

And when you didn’t listen it made me mad.

You did everything but fall.

All you had to do was call.

Say my name and wear it out.

I loved how with you I didn’t have any doubts.

Nowadays I just don’t care.
