"A wolf in sheep's clothing" is a scripture verse from the bible that is very true in a lot of cases. As you grow older you start to realize everyone is not your friend. Some friends show their true colors in the beginning, and others take a while to come out, explaining the opening quote.
Recently a friend of mine just stabbed me in the back and I take it as a life lesson. You have to see the fraud activity early. I noticed a lot of things but ignored it in the beginning because they were small things that didn't seem major to me. As the friendship continued I started to see a lot more fraud activity. The friend would act different around certain people, I heard a lot of talk behind my back, and even saw some text messages that blew my mind.
I took note of everything and started to fall back. I didn't want to make the situation awkward by completely cutting the friend off and I had a lot of mutual friends so we were often still around each other. Which is one of the mistakes I made, I should've cut the former friend off completely instead of continuing to be around that person, and existing in the drama. As time went on our friendship fortunately ended, because I thought I could trust this person with personal information, then later found out that I was wrong, and suddenly more people knew my business, because of this one person.
Now I know to spot out the fraud activity early on, don't force any friendships to work. If you see shady activity, cut the person off completely before anything big happens that can be damaging to you and others around you.
