No Crying On The Battlefield

You know it's bad when the women go from wailing at the wall to war cries, It is time for my women to stand up, no longer show skin and cover up, not just stand in disbelief but on the front lines... show up...we have decided that our children can no longer be casuality, and that doesn't mean working for them for shoes on feet, it means us, just doing it, checking on the future that we activity play a part in, and loaded weapons will spark fire at the end...if you mess one of mine, and one of mine is yours too, in a village, the walls fall and we are seen as on whole group, so it's war, and has been for a long time, the bodies you pass on the battlefield, some turned their backs while others, coward to cry, but I lead you into the trenches, and not scared to break a nail we need to make a difference...and no longer will talking simply be enough, as the bullets fly, your instinct needs to open up...not like flowers in bloom either, like bombs dropped next to camp we are trying to survive in...INSTANT...and you can get back to your crying as a woman about a man not being their for you, but NOW they are on the battle field right next to you, standing guard because they now realize that in fight, they really do need a powerful YOU, so what you gonna do...stand and fight or wail at the wall...Let me know, cause I'm moving forward...it's war ya'll.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
