Did we really go out if none of us didn't change outfits about 10 times and accidentally spent $100 on food?

Friday night rolls in. You and your friends have been waiting all week for tonight. Your plans for the night were set a week in advance to make sure everyone in the group can make it. Every night out starts off with a series of struggles you and the squad go through. When do we ever not come across some kind of issue before going out, am I right?

1. Trying to plan out the night

2. One friend having a meltdown and refusing to go out

3. Another friend all ready to go since 9 p.m.

4. Deciding between eating more carbs but being bloated and not being bloated but feeling sick right away

5. Changing outfits about 10 times because not a single one looks good enough

6. Watching your friends pregame while you're still getting ready

7. Trying to assemble the group together and leave on time

8. One friend about to pass out after pregaming too hard

9. Having a photoshoot while everyone still looks good

10. Giving out a reminder not to contact any fuckboys throughout the night

11. Rushing everyone to get themselves together because the Uber is only two minutes away

The girls get through the pre-night-out, miraculously. Everyone makes it to the function and has fun making very interesting decisions. All the evidence can be found on Snapchat, which will be reviewed in the morning to remember the shenanigans that you all participated in. But, the nights comes to an end. The group faces a whole new set of problems!

1. One friend is sick in the bathroom

2. Another friend crying over a boy

3. A third friend is still too lit and wants to go out again

4. Accidentally overspending on food

5. Trying to get everyone to calm down and go to bed

6. Forcing yourself to take your makeup off and wash your face before knocking out

7. Ignoring texts from fuckboys and fighting the urge to cave in

8. Eating food without making a mess

9. Making sure everyone is hydrating with water to avoid being hungover in the morning

10. Remembering all the responsibilities you have to do the next day

11. Realizing it's almost 4 a.m. and you're the only one still awake

It's time to get some sleep before you face the harsh reality of responsibilities again. But, congratulations on getting through the night in one piece! You are bound to repeat the whole process again. Next weekend, am I right? Perhaps, tomorrow right? Better recover quickly from your crazy night! As much as you might hate stressing over what to wear or making sure you're not the one on the bathroom floor, you live for nights like this. After all, adulthood is approaching faster than you think.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
