The 2015 VMA nominations were released and the news left one particular artist more than unhappy. Nicki Minaj was nominated for the Best Female Video and Best Hip Hop Video awards for "Anacanda" and Best Collaboration award for "Bang Bang." However, neither "Anaconda" nor "Feeling Myself" were nominated for Video of the Year. The nominees were: Beyonce for "7/11", Ed Sheeran for "Thinking Out Loud", Kendrick Lamar for " Alright", Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars for "Uptown Funk", and Taylor Swift ft. Kendrick Lamar for "Bad Blood". Clearly confused, the rap queen took her questions and opinions to Twitter.

AlexisJ; formally known as Alexis Robinson, is a co-host of the online talk show "Interal Affairs" as well as a contributor to the The Odyseey Online at Hampton University campus sat down with a few DMV local artists and personalities on her show to dicuss their views on the topic.
Just like Beyonce's "Single Ladies" Nicki Minaj had the world in more then just a dance craze with the depute of the "Anaconda" video.
