Follow Chatter: The Next Big Thing In Social Media Is Here

The majority of our society is completely fluent when it comes to social media. Facebook. Twitter. Instagram. Pinterest. Snapchat. Vine. We have them all. But what if I told you there is a new social media is emerging? Well, there is. Starting this fall, a new social media called Follow Chatter will go live.

Follow Chatter is a social media that uses one of the most expressive human traits to connect friends. Follow Chatter uses voice in a completely innovative and fun new way! Think of all your favorite parts of your favorite social media sites, but then think of the endless possibilities that having a voice feature offers. Woah.

So if you're anything like me, you might have some questions about Follow Chatter... So I asked my good friend, and COO of Follow Chatter, Noah Kritz, a few questions to help me better understand.

What exactly is Follow Chatter?

Kritz explained Follow Chatter as, "an uprising social media network focused on the most expressive human trait: voice." Follow Chatter takes the successful features of popular and trendy social networks, while offering a new innovative voice and audio system. Kritz says that, "[Follow Chatter's] goal is to help people share snippets of their lives in a fun, convenient, and new way."

Who started Follow Chatter?

Matt Furbee and Noah Kritz are the co-founders/CEO and COO, respectively. Both Furbee and Kritz grew up in Shadyside, Ohio, and have known each other for pretty much their whole lives. They became best friends starting in middle school and have continued their friendship throughout college.

Meet Matt Furbee (pictured on the right). He is the CEO of Follow Chatter. He has the vision of Steve Jobs and a killer beard to boot. Before co-founding Follow Chatter, Furbee served as a private business consultant, and director of social media for an innovative cell phone case company called Exofab. In 2011, he and Kritz co-founded a company and auditioned for the hit reality show "Shark Tank." He has a certification in non-verbal communication and broadcast journalism, and is currently pursuing a business degree from Ohio University.

Pictured on the left is Noah Kritz. Think Mark Zuckerberg, only ten times more muscular (and probably more personable... sorry Mark, but your portrayal in "The Social Network" rubbed me the wrong way). Kritz is currently an honor student at The Ohio State University studying computer engineering and entrepreneurship. He is currently the social media coordinator of the Ohio State Chess team. In his spare time, Kritz coaches CrossFit at Eleventh Element--Crossfit Hilliard in Columbus, Ohio.

Both Furbee and Krtiz are expecting huge success with Follow Chatter. They have already signed up over 500 users in just two weeks of promotion. Some of these users include celebrities like Trae Edwards, Cole Washburn, The Tracking Room Studio, and many more in the country music industry; Graham Holmberg, Savannah Holmberg and Justin Green with Source Fitness.

What inspired Follow Chatter?

Kritz explained how the idea of micro blogging was the core inspiration. He says that "it soon evolved into more of a social media feel just by seeking out the most successful platforms of our time. There's a gap in social media right now with connectivity -- we have text, pictures, and video, but no platform focusing on the most effective tool of intercommunication. We have made it our duty to give users of social media their voice back."

What makes Follow Chatter better than other popular social networks?

The gentlemen at Follow Chatter don't believe that Follow Chatter is better than any other social media. In fact, Kritz says "we all build off the successes of others and have the same common goal of connecting people -- just through different means." Follow Chatter even allows users to share their audio posts to Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook!

And most importantly, when can you sign up?

Right now! Go to www.FollowChatter.com and enter your email address and desired username! By pre-signing up, you receive exclusive #StarPower, which increases your audio posting time and gives you a verified mark in your profile, thus dubbing you a verified user. How cool is that? Also, follow them on Instagram (@followchatter), Twitter (@Follow_Chatter) and on Facebook (www.facebook.com/followchatter)!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
