After binge watching and losing numerous hours of sleep to the infamous show New Girl, my Netflix app has now been deleted and I can easily say Jess day is my doppelganger (I could also settle for spirit animal). As such a relatable character, teenage girls world wide can probably understand most things she endures from relationships, to jobs, to just general life.
Jessica Day is a cute, glasses wearing, sweetheart who makes me feel like my abnormal life is a bit more normal. Here are a few examples, I can only hope you relate:
1. After a long day of work and classes and your friend texts you to hang out.
2. After you finally convince them you're too sick to leave the house, decisions must be made in your time alone. (Priorities, everyone).
3. That time of the month, enough said.
4. For my dog lovers out there.
5. Breakups, being single for-like-ever, cheaters, you name it.
(Hint: Nobody, that's who.)
6. But then you remember you're still a very hormonal woman.
7. Meeting the weirdest, most insane, but lovable friend group
8. Loving your inner-geek, realizing even when you take off the glasses you're still never going to be the "standard" cool - and that's okay.
9. And then there are the bad days. Finals week, failures, and mishaps.
10. This one isn't even a specific day - this just sums up the entirety of my being.
11. Existential crisis anyone?
12. When the most annoying people in the world around you just prove their annoyingness and won't ever stop talking with their annoying mouth.
Did I mention that it was annoying? (I'm staying vague because annoying people flock everywhere, relate at your own risk).
