3 Shows To Watch When You're Sick And Stuck In Bed

It is very clear that with winter among us there are also various different germs around us. Getting sick around this time of the semester can be pretty rough especially with exams right around the corner. While it is important to make sure that we are keeping track of our assignments it is also important to take care of ourselves. It's not even halfway into the semester so we still have a lot of stressful weeks ahead of us. With that said, if you're among the population that has been unfortunate to catch a sickness, worry not! Use this time to take care of yourself and build up your immune system. What better way to rest than to go Netflix binge-watching?

Here are some Netflix shows that may be worth your while:

"You" (Yes, this is the name of the show).

If you are into mystery and suspense this is the show for you. "You" is a show that tests how far it is acceptable to go for someone you love. This all starts off with a young man, a bookstore manager who comes across this beautiful girl at his store. The encounter is sort of awkward but it leaves him wanting more and he is suddenly engulfed by her. He finds himself wanting to know more and more about her and he does this by just a couple swipes of his finger thanks to her public social media. He starts to notice the people that are keeping her from succeeding and he takes matters into his own hands to deal with those people.

"Young & Hungry"

This is a comedic show is about a young chef Gabi living in San Fran who is desperately looking for a job. She sees that there is a job opening to be a personal chef for a wealthy tech entrepreneur named Josh. In order to get the job she must prove that she is a good enough chef while Elliot, Josh's publicist does anything possible to keep her from getting the job. To start things off, on the first day of her job she ends up getting drunk and sleeping with her boss (yikes). This show takes all kinds of twists and turns as a chef and also as a lover to her boss.

"Lucifer"

Lucifer is a fallen angel that gotten tired of his life in Hell and has made his way through Earth to pursue more interesting hobbies like women. His daily routine is changed when he witnesses a murder right outside of his night club. He takes matters into his own hand to solve the murder case all while meeting a detective named Chloe. As the mysteries are solved he grows more and more interested in Chloe. Everything about Chloe seems so foreign to him and she seems to be immune to his usual tactics, like seducing women, and he's determined to find out why.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
