Looking for another great TV show to binge watch on Netflix? Look no farther. Netflix’s new original show "The OA” is a dramatic and exciting new show to sink into; it’s an intense psychological thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seats.

“The OA” follows the perplexing story of the main character, Prairie, who went missing seven years ago. Then, one day she is found, but is changed almost beyond recognition. She has now re-gained her sight and bears these remarkable yet painful looking scars, but remains hyper-vigilant as she attempt to find someone named Homer.

Prairie, who refers to herself as The OA, gains the help of five people in her hometown to assist her on her quest to save her missing friends. But first, she must tell them her entire story to gain their trust in pursuing her dangerous mission. With every new episode you are thrown back into the dark and into a complex and ever-evolving past.

This show explores the complexities of life after death and examines people who have been gifted with talents once they have come back from the brink of death. You gain a deeper understanding of the intricacies of everyday life and what young people have to deal with on a daily basis. It is one of those shows that makes you see people who for they really are and to understand why they are the way they are. You gain sympathy and compassion for the rich characters as their stories unfold and you yearn for more.

Although it only has eight episodes, it is worth every second. If you enjoyed Netflix's other TV show Stranger Things, then this show is perfect for you. Once you start you will not be able to sleep until you have learned all there is to know about Prairie’s mysterious and dangerous past.
