Everyone's top picks for their all time favorite movies are almost always Disney movies. Disney is the heart and soul to the movie industry. They're the type of movies no one is too old or too young for. Movies that are created by Disney are the type that make you feel that something greater than life is happening while you sit in the theater, something magical. Even though it is hard to choose my favorite Disney movies, I did in fact narrow it down.
1. "Remember the Titans"
"Remember the Titans" is a football movie no one could forget. It has such a large amount of conflict, but also the conflict is counteracted with wonderful, beautiful friendships. "Remember the Titans" is absolutely one of my favorite movies of all time.
2. "Beauty and the Beast"
"Beauty and the Beast" is such a wonderful love story that fights all the odds. A beautiful young woman falls in love with this huge, vicious beast. However, this woman sees the beast's heart. She sees the good in him. This movie is my favorite Disney Princess movie because this couple depicts what true love really is.
3. "Finding Nemo"
Everyone knows the story of "Finding Nemo." This is in my top favorites simply because of the word "family." This movie explains the true meaning of family by using Marlin as well as using Dory. Dory is an example of how not all family has to be blood related.
4. "Cinderella"
Of course Cinderella has to make the list. Cinderella is the classic story of "rags-to-riches by finding true love." Cinderella was one of my favorite movies growing up because I felt like one day I would be able to be her (only because I have blonde hair and blue eyes). The movie "Cinderella" was my childhood.
5. "Ichabod and Mr. Toad"
"Ichabod and Mr. Toad" don't seem as popular as the other movies I have mentioned; however, it's one of my favorites. I enjoyed watching all of the mischief they would get in, and then liked to watch them find a way out. This movie was one of the movies as I continued to get older I still wanted to watch all the time. Even now sometimes I would really just enjoy sitting down to watch this Disney feature.
6. "Chicken Little"
"Chicken Little" is, simply put, a "fun" movie. This feature is hilarious with crazy, quirky surprises around each corner. "Chicken Little" is the type of movie I like to see on TV after a long hard day.
Even though my top six are numbered, it was more of a guess and check, because all of these movies (along with others) are just some of my favorite features. I enjoy being able to sit down for a Disney movie every once in a while, because Disney movies keep the magic alive inside of us.
