YouTube has been a big part of my leisure life for quite some time now. It is a great place to escape from the real world and just fall down a hole of all kinds of videos, from casual vlogs to intricate make up tutorials that you probably have no use for because why would you ever need to know how to make yourself look like an old person? So, here are my top ten favorite YouTube channels.
1. Tyler Oakley
Tyler Oakley is one of my all-time favorite YouTubers. He is a very popular vlogger who is so unapologetically himself and he couldn’t be more perfect.
2. Buzzfeed
Buzzfeed is a company style channel that puts out all kind of videos that deal with various social trends and is definitely a channel worth checking out.
3. Jeffree Star/Manny MUA
These two men post all kinds of beauty videos and are so hilarious to watch. Not to mention their makeup is always flawless.
4. Grav3yardgirl
Bunny is another beauty vlogger but she also does reviews on all kinds of other things like “As seen on TV” products. Her videos are usually kind of long but they are always full of fun and laughs.
5. Shane Dawson
Shane posts various types of videos from skits to silly challenges that half the time I’m pretty sure he makes up. His content always has me laughing till I cry.
6. Grace Helbig/Hannah Hart/Mamrie Hart
These three women are some of the funniest women I have ever seen. They post a lot of drinking games on their channels along with other content they create on their own.
7. Clevver Style
This is kind of a comical spin on the beauty side of YouTube where they try to do popular beauty trends and usually fail miserably. They always manage to make complete fools of themselves and just laugh at each other the whole time.
8. Glam & Gore
This channel is one of the coolest I have come across because Mykie, the owner of the channel, always has a glam side to a certain look then turns it gory and it always looks so cool. Her spin on Disney princesses is a must see.
9. The Fine Brothers
This channel has one of my favorite segments to watch on YouTube and it’s called YouTubers React. They bring various YouTubers on the show and will show them all kinds of outrageous videos and film their reactions. It’s hilarious to watch. They also do it with kids and older folk, as well.
10. Peter Hollens
Peter Hollens is one of the most amazing Acapella singers I have ever heard. He has such an amazing voice and I love listening to his cover of all types of music from Broadway too popular, mainstream songs.
YouTube is a wonderful place to sit down and relax. You can just watch endless videos of whatever genre you want because it is all there. It is a community for people who may not feel that they fit in anywhere because that is where most of the people who create content came from. It is an outlet for expression and is a place where people can be whoever they want to be and not apologize.
