If you would have asked me two years ago if I partook in watching the show "The Bachelor," I would have given you this look.
The what?
Then, upon being stuck at home during last years ice blizzard storm, I stumbled upon the end of Farmer Chris's season. At first I was reluctant. Why did I need another reality TV show in my life to take up time where I could be doing more important things, like gardening.
At first, I was very confused by the whole situation.
Twenty-ish women go on this show, supposedly all because they are going to fall in love with said Bachelor? Very interesting.
As I continued watching it every Monday (I was hooked), I became even more confused by the concept.
The Bachelor tells all of these girls basically that he is in love with them all. Then by the end of the season, he narrows it down to just one of the girls he has told he loves. Very interesting. To top it off, the choice is symbolized by non-other, than a rose. Super romantic.
Since this season started, I have really enjoyed laughing at how literally insane some of these girls are. In the first episode, a girl wore giant rose on her head, one girl wore a horse head mask, and another brought a miniature horse.
Then there is this girl:
