Well, everyone, if you are a college senior who is emotionally struggling to keep her life together, you know that this season of "The Bachelor" didn't help any. Over the span of 10 weeks, I have seen a woman named Lace wear lace to meet Ben, a woman's mouth become the butt of all jokes, and a single mom of two get her heart broken. But, nonetheless, here we are. Finale week has just passed us, and we had to watch Ben grapple with one of the biggest decisions of his life. So, ladies and gents, we're going to have a wonderful recap of this season's memorable moments that shook me to the core.
1. "I'm afraid that I'm unlovable."
From all the single women in America, I think it's free to say F-off. I don't think Ben's problem is that he is unlovable, but rather that he is too lovable, declaring his feelings for both Lauren and Jojo. Ben Higgins, I can personally say that you're totally lovable. Why else would a group of women enter a TV show that is the equivalent of a classy "Flavor of Love" if they didn't think you were worth the heartbreak?
2. Olivia's mouth
You know, I wouldn't even approach this topic, but Olivia's mouth made a huge mark throughout the season ... and I'm not even talking about some of the horrific comments that came out of it. Yes, folks, I'm talking about her numerous facial expressions when she was giddy from her time with Ben. The GIF says it all.
3. "I feel like I'm on an episode of 'Teen Mom.'"
When Olivia said this to Amanda, I thought I could have jumped through the TV and slapped her myself. Not only was this extremely disrespectful, but it was a comment that rallied all moms across the nation. It's OK, though -- Olivia got her karma when she got left on a tropical island.
4. "Lauren, you're my person."
Dear God in heaven, nothing could have prepared me for the best moment. I'm not going to lie, I was a little heartbroken when Jojo's confidence was shattered. However, Ben and Lauren could not be any more perfect. I mean, for goodness' sake, they referenced "Grey's Anatomy" while professing their love to each other. It doesn't get any better than that. The only event that may top their lovely moment is my fifth and last point.
5. "And the bachelorette is ..."
So to all of you who were like me and thought the new bachelorette was going to be Caila, you were just as blown away when we found out it was going to be Jojo. Not only did this shock me, but it makes me extremely excited to watch the next season of the franchise because nobody else is more deserving of love than she is.
