Dear self,
It's okay. It's okay to not know everything. It's okay to not be in total control. It's okay to have questions. It's okay to not be perfect. It's okay to be alone right now. It doesn't mean there's something wrong with you. It doesn't mean you're incapable of loving someone else. It doesn't mean no one will make you truly happy. It's best for you to take this time to find out who you really are. Take this time to rediscover the things you enjoy. Take this time to do all the things you love: dance, sing, travel, read, discover new music.
Remember when you were little? Remember how carefree and joyful you were? Go back to that. Go back to being happy with just being yourself. Go back to when you felt you had enough and that was all you needed. Don't put so much pressure on yourself to be at a certain place in your life. Let go of that stupid list in your head of what you need to do before you're 30. Who cares if those things get done? Just be happy. Stop wasting time with your nose to the grindstone, working toward an earthly goal that won't last eternally.
You are beautiful. You love fiercely and you are fiercely loved. There is no one on this planet that is just like you. Love yourself. Look in the mirror every day and tell yourself you are beautiful. Tell yourself you are loved. Tell yourself you can do all things. Tell yourself that whatever today holds, God is with you and He will never forsake you. Be good at being you and the rest will fall into place.
This life was never meant to be easy, so be at peace with the hardships you're facing. Don't fight God for the reins anymore. Every time you struggle for control, you hinder the course. Sit back, enjoy the ride and don't be fearful of the bumps in the road.
Remember, it's okay.
