Looking back on the fastest four years of my life, my favorite memories are the ones that I shared with all of you, my high school best friends. We supported each other in pivotal points of our adolescent lives and continue to support each other even when we are miles away from each other at college. The friendship we share is unbreakable, and I am so thankful for all of the laughs, inside jokes, and memories that we have made.
While I love spending time at school, I look forward to coming home during semester breaks because I know that I'll be spending time with all of you. I love how we can spend weeks apart but when we are all together again, it's like we never left. Without hesitation, every inside joke resurfaces and brings me back to a time when college was an idea instead of a reality. It's so refreshing to know that when we are all together again, I can release my wild self. I trust each and every one of you with my life, and I know that I'm in good hands when we're all together.
The lessons that you all have taught me have made me into the person that I am today. Cliche, I know, but it's true. I learned how to remain patient when group chat gets heated, and I learned how to deal with being ignored when no one would respond to my questions about hopeful plans. I also learned what it feels like to be loved unconditionally because of all of your love and support in all of my endeavors. I've learned to take risks and step outside my comfort zone because you all knew I was more than capable of achieving my dreams. All of you have impacted my life for the better in some way, shape, or form and I will forever be grateful.
My high school experience was unforgettable because of the memories I have shared with all of you. I never had to worry about feeling lonely or not having plans because everyday was a new adventure with us. My favorite were the nights where we played board games or watched movies that we could sing along to. As someone who doesn't normally let loose, nothing was more special than acting immature and silly. These are the moments and feelings I will remember forever.
I knew going away to college would be difficult without you all by my side, but being away from all of you makes the time we spend together more special. I've learned that I won't find another group of amazing individuals like all of you and that's okay. The friendship that we have created is something special. It's remarkable, really. I love being able to call you all my best friends, and I thank you for making my high school experience an experience for the better. I love you all.
