Zach Kramer

One of my good friends named Zach has always been a person with bright ideas and a mind for business. We both went to Millburn High School, a prestigious high school at the time. Both of us know how to have fun and we just click. Whether it was at cracking jokes hanging out or having the same mindset, we both have a mindset to make it in society, and that is what we are both trying to do. My friend works very hard and is always willing to try again after failing. He is a student at the University of Tampa pursuing a degree in Entrepreneurship and Business. Zach is set to graduate this semester in May. Zach has always had a good mind for business, and his father himself is a highly accomplished businessman. Talent runs in the family.

Now, he has created his own website all on his own that was founded this past January. The mission of the website is "to spread awareness of the benefits of hemp by producing high-quality hemp products."

His brand is called "The Dope T," and it is where he sells clothing. It is his very own clothing brand. The clothing has a unique design and there are a bunch of different kinds. Some have a clever slogan that says, "Green." Green for saving the environment and for promoting the unique type of clothing fabric. The shirts are created with recycled water and electricity. The word green to the slogan means a lot more than it seems: it is called green to show how the shirt is created. The shirts are created with less electricity and fewer materials to make the shirt than other fabrics like cotton and silk. He has created his own logo with the title "Green," with the two E's being leaves. The fabric is different than any other fabric. Some of the benefits of this material is that it is three times stronger than cotton and it holds its shape. It is also just as soft and of good quality like any other material known. It is natural, and it does not damage the environment.

The shirts also are made in America to show pride for the country. It is a different type of clothing, and it goes to show that hemp can actually be used for good. People and the media describe the use of hemp as only detrimental and not of any use, but that is not the case. It is being used to make quality clothing that is both organic and of high quality. Currently, there are two types of shirts available: one white and one black shirt with the logo "Green" on it. Now, there are also stickers that a person can buy with the brand on it. More shirts will be uploaded and sold soon as it is a new site. New products with picture designs on the shirt. It is a step towards his big dream of owning his own great business and a good start up. It's a good step in the right direction for my friend Zach as he builds his own brand and company to greatness and stardom.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
