With the premier of the 13th season of Grey’s Anatomy upon us, I thought I would share thirteen of my favorite moments in the past. These are not in any particular order, just as I thought of them.

1. “You’re my person”

When Christina needed an emergency contact and she didn’t know who else to put and she chose Meredith, and the entire fandom cried.

2. Callie and Arizona’s wedding

When my all time favorite couple got married and live happily ever after. I refuse to believe that the upcoming seasons happened to them, because they are my favorite and deserved more than they were given.

3. Drunk Bailey

When Miranda Bailey is able to let loose and have a good time, believe me when I say nothing slows her down. Bailey is meant to be this intense character that is strict and to the point, so anytime she gets a chance to let her hair down she does.

4. Meredith’s Appendicitis

That wonderfully funny time that Meredith Grey had appendicitis and was given morphine for the pain. The best part was when all of the men she had recently slept with showed up to her room to support her. And also Bailey’s face in this gif.

5. Callie underwear dancing

That time Calliope Torres was living in the basement of the hospital and the chief caught her dancing in her underwear. This moment gave us a greater understanding of just who the new character on our screen was.

6. Musical episode

When everyone’s hearts broke, but our ears were filled with the magical voices of our favorite characters. This episode was also great because it showcased songs from previous episodes.

7. Karev being a pediatrician

When Alex went from hating children to saving their lives, and being absolutely fabulous at it. There is one scene where a girl wants to listen to music during and MRI but cannot, so he sings the song to her through the intercom.

8. “You can’t pray away the gay”

When Callie’s dad came to visit after she came out to him, and brought the priest as well. Then Callie proceeded to show up her father on her biblical knowledge and stay who she was.

9. Christina Yang's advice to Meredith

That time Christina Yang, spoke truth about Merder’s (Meredith and Derek) relationship, because sometimes you need your bestfriend to keep it real with you. Christina lets Meredith know that she needs to put herself first, not her husband.

10. Addison’s day off for drinking

That time Addison realized that her husband was cheating on her again, so she asked her boss for a day of to drink. This was obviously a hard thing for her to realise, because she was so sure that her marriage was going to fix itself, but it never did.

11. “Dance it out”

Christina was always one to give great wisdom, but most of the time she and Meredith just needed to dance away their stress. Throughout the show there are several other moments of Meredith and various characters “dancing it out”.

12. Demi Lovato

That time my favorite singer/actress was on my favorite show and she actually had a decent story line. She portrayed a girl who was mistaken as schizophrenic, but just had a problem with her ears that made her super sensitive.

13. April Kepner being super competitive

When Owen Hunt turned a learning experience into a competition, and April Kepner got way too into it. She didn’t stop until Hunt told her she had won, but then became a very great trauma surgeon.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
