During the school year, I find it difficult to enjoy my favorite past time due to the mass amounts of homework, class time and meetings. But, since it is Spring Break, all I do is watch daytime TV. From Jerry Springer to the various courtroom shows, I am an addict. I have a schedule and when it gets ruined - I'm not happy.
10 a.m. The Price is Right. I literally woke up at 9:57 this morning and I know it is because my body was telling me I needed to start my day with my favorite game show. I just imagine myself getting called onto the stage, 'Megan Showers..come on down," and playing my favorite game: Cliffhangers. Someday I will make it to Los Angeles to The Price is Right studio.

11 a.m. The Jerry Springer Show. Don't get me wrong, I know it is pretty trashy. But, it is nice when I get to sit down with my dad and laugh since my mom absolutely HATES the show. Honestly, is it actually fake? Who knows.
12 p.m. The Judge Mathis Show. Just like it says in the opening of the show, Judge Mathis keeps it real. He is a genuine, kind person that cares about the plaintiffs and defendants in the cases. My favorite episode is when Judge Mathis gives a scholarship to a young woman who cannot afford an education. Would Judge Judy do that? I don't think so.
1 p.m. People's Court. The judge for this courtroom show has changed throughout the years, but is currently Judge Marilyn Milian, who is in her 16th season. Did you know that Judge Judy's husband used to be the judge? But, the ratings were so low that he was booted. Judge Marilyn Milian uses an equal amount of humor and seriousness throughout her rulings which makes her relatable and the show entertaining.
2 p.m. Judge Judy. Judge Judy is a straight up gangsta; she takes no ones s**t. Yesterday, the defendant was asking to speak to say something super unnecessary and she rolled her eyes. She literally gives ZERO f**ks about what people think, yet upholds the law while making fair rulings.

3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Jeopardy. I used to never watch Jeopardy, but my boyfriend got me hooked. Although, I usually only know one answer the entire hour, it is fun to attempt. I used to like Alex Trebek, but recently (after a friend pointed it out), I noticed he is a bit condescending. For example, "Sometimes it takes a little while to get rolling on Jeopardy! And that may be the case with Matt," or "You're fast on the button, but your brain's not catching up!" or "Nope. It will be goodbye for our champion today."
My name is Megan and I am a daytime TV addict.
But do you think I am going to recover anytime soon? I don't think so.
