Many great gaming titles are set to launch within the next few months. Despite 2016 being almost three-quarters of the way finished, there are still many great video games to look out for during the rest of the year. Most of these games are available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC or combination of them all.
1. "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" (August 23, 2016 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC)
For longtime fans of "Deus Ex," this game will hit home. For anyone wanting to try a new game, this will be a great one. The games have always been action-packed, and the storyline for the series is very good.
"The action of 'Deus Ex: Mankind Divided' takes place in 2029, a couple of years after the events of Human Revolution and the infamous ‘Aug Incident’ in Panchaea that resulted in the deaths of millions at the hands of those who had installed augmentations. This event has caused a massive divide between those who have augmentations and those who don't. Amidst this emotional turmoil are various factions aiming to manipulate the public by twisting public opinion of augmentation to advance their own agenda and hide the truth of what really occurred." 2. "Madden NFL 17" (August 23, 2016 for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One)
This is the next installment in the Madden series, and Gronk is the face of the game cover. This game will have improved graphics, updated rosters and updated controls. Anyone who enjoyed the previous Madden games will enjoy this one.
"'Madden NFL 17' Franchise = Take your team all the way and put yourself at the center of your team’s Championship run in Franchise mode, delivering new ways to play and more decisions to make. Added features include the practice squad, full-player editing and the in-game ticker that keeps you updated with scores from around the league. This new level of strategy promises to deliver more variety and more fun when preparing for your next opponent, whether it’s a user or a computer simulated player." Summary from Metacritic
3. "Final Fantasy XV" (September 30, 2016 for PS4 and Xbox One)
"Final Fantasy" fans have been waiting a long time for this game! It has been in development for a while, and it'll definitely be amazing. The gameplay, graphics and story are all worth checking out.
"'FINAL FANTASY XV' is a fantasy based on reality. Escaping the flames of war, Noctis, the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Lucis, embarks on an epic journey with his best friends through a world of larger-than-life beasts, amazing wonders to behold, and dungeons filled with danger in hopes of finding the strength to take back his homeland and end the battle." 4. "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" (November 4, 2016 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC)
A new installment in the "Call of Duty" franchise, this game is set to release in early November. The "Call of Duty" series has always done well, and I'm not expecting anything different for this game. It should be interesting; this game's setting will be beyond Earth.
"'Infinite Warfare' is the first game in the franchise to venture beyond the reaches of Earth, framing a plausible future war in our solar system. Infinite Warfare also introduces an original cooperative Zombies mode that takes players on a wild ride through a new storyline with unique gameplay features and mechanics."
