Whether this music is old or new, you need to be listening to it now. If you like vibe-y music to listen to as you fall asleep, to have on while you make dinner, or to do your homework, this is for you!

While you read...go ahead and listen! You can hear all of these songs plus some bonus tracks here! (P.S. I'd play them on shuffle.)

Johnnyswim’s album "Diamonds"

I fell in love with this band and started listening to this album and telling people, “Look at what an incredible band I discovered!” After being told I was a little behind, the times I am here to save you the embarrassment. Do yourself a favor and listen to “Take the World,” “Paris in June” and “Over”. Side note: They are married which just makes them so much more adorable.

Billie Joe Armstrong and Norah Jones's "Roving Gambler"

Who knew they did a CD together? Wow. Heart eyes. This is just my favorite song off of their collaboration album, "Foreverly." (Also, be sure to listen to Norah Jones's "December"...more heart eyes.)

Michael Buble’s everything.

And no, I don't mean his song "Everything" (although that song is on the list, duh). I mean literally everything about him. I mean, how are you allowed to be so adorable and have a voice like butter? These are some of my favorites off of his older albums, "Always On My Mind" and "Best of Me."

Stacy Kent

My girl. I have been telling people about Ms. Kent for years. She has the voice of an angel. Must-listen songs: "This Happy Madness," "The Face I Love" and "Isn't it a Lovely Day."

Jon McLaughlin's "So Close"

Yes. This is from Enchanted. I mean, this song just speaks for itself. So close, so stunning.

Luke Levenson's "Smoke" ft. Abbey Smith

I just can't with this song! If you're impatient go to 2:49, then play the song on repeat. You'll be convinced after just one riff.

Melody Gardot’s Album “My One and Only Thrill”

I’ve been obsessed with Gardot ever since my mom brought her CD home from Starbucks years ago. She has one of the most inspiring stories...read it here. My faves have to be “If the Stars Were Mine” and “Who Will Comfort Me.”

Lake Street Dive

With amazingly clever lyrics, the smooth voice of lead singer Rachael Price and a band that can collectively play nine instruments, this band is just so fun. I mean, what other band has two guys named Mike? Highlights include: "You Go Down Smooth," "Saving All My Sinning" and "Side Pony."

Tori Kelly’s "Handmade Songs" Album

Yes people, you read that correctly. HANDMADE. Tori wrote and produced all of those songs in her house. Such a boss! Highlights include“Confetti” and “All in My Head.” Go back and listen to this album, her album "Forward," and the weirdly awesome "Mr. Music (Acapella)."

Matt Simon's "Catch & Release - Deepend Remix"

I don't even remember where I was when I first heard this song, but I do remember I played it on repeat for days. Specifically this remix. So much vibe.

Hope you enjoyed my jams! Don't forget to listen to these and the bonus tracks here!

Have a suggestion or addition to my list? Let me know! @SarahStipe

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
