Try as you might, you'll never be able to get back the girl you were when your heart first decided to love him. That girl was young and naïve. She was full of potential and unending happiness. However, you are a new girl. In fact, you are not a girl anymore, you are a woman. I'm not saying you become cold and calloused after your heart is broken in such a way, but it does take a toll on your emotional health.
Sometimes you just must turn the page to realize there is more to your book of life than the page you're stuck on. Stop being afraid to move on. Close this chapter of hurt and never re-read it again. It's time to get what your life deserves and move on from the things that don't deserve you. Don't spend your days trying to correct your past, instead, let go and let God create something better for your future.

Not everyone is going to stay forever, and we still must keep on going and thank them for what they've given us.

He will make you feel so happy you will wonder if you were ever truly happy at all in your last relationship.
