Snow days are the best! You wake up to that glorious email announcing that class is canceled for the day and you immediately fall back asleep, rejoicing in your day of chilly freedom. After the few extra hours of precious beauty sleep, you groggily wake from your slumber and begin to figure out your plans for the rest of the day.
You could venture out into the snowy abyss and build a snowman like a Disney Princess. You could get some cute Instagram-worthy candid photos of you and your besties playing in the snow. You could attempt to get some work done with this bountiful free time you were just given. You could just stay in bed all day and ignore every single responsibility like the wannabe grown up that you are. "Frozen"
It’s a fan favorite--a given on a frozen (get it?) day like today. You and your friends can sing along with Elsa and Anna and everyone’s favorite lovable snowman, Olaf. You can pretend that you caused thesnowstorm brewing outside your windows like Queen Elsa herself. And don’t pretend that “Let It Go” isn’t still stuck in your head from the moment that you first heard it. Just give into that catchy tune, let it go.
" Harry Potter"
Why not take this free time to watch the entire series of HP films? You can pop some popcorn and binge watch your favorite British witches and wizards. With the snow falling out the window, you’ll feel right at home at Hogwarts. You can practice your spell chanting with Harry and the gang and it’s totally normal to cry when Dumbledore dies. F***ing Voldemort ruins everything.
" Mean Girls"
There is never a time when "Mean Girls" isn’t a good idea. You and your friends can probably recite this film word for word without even watching it, but its just that much better to be a mean girl if Regina George is doing it with you. You’ll feel like Mrs. George during the Christmas talent show the entire time. Heck, you’ll feel like a better person altogether because no one could be as mean as The Plastics.
" High School Musical"
This is another trio of films that you could binge on any day. Get your head in the game and realize that we’re all in this together when it comes to belting out every number with Troy and Gabriella. You can just sit in your warm clothes and blankets, imagining that you’re warm because Zac Efron is cuddling with you. Who doesn’t wish that their high school experience was just like HSM? Sometimes its fun to sing about all your problems.
"Oceans Eleven"
You have so much free time on your hands that you can take this time to truly figure out how Brad Pitt and George Clooney managed to continuously rob Vegas casinos. If it’s that easy for them, maybe that’s how I can afford to pay off my college loans. There are a few other movies in this film category as well so you’ll have enough time to become a hot mastermind like their entire crew. This genius team of criminals is very pretty, so your frigid day can get a bit hotter.
