Anyone nowadays that is even remotely technology savvy has some type of smartphone and every year, smartphones keep getting more and more advanced. Apple's iPhone, which is the most popular smartphone out of the bunch, has just released it's newest version: the iPhone 6s.
As opposed to the previous iPhone 6, the newest iPhone 6s has more color options, a 3D touch display, improved camera, and it will be faster and last longer. These are all obvious improvements, but with Apple releasing new versions of the iPhone every year around the September time period like it's on a schedule, we begin to ask: how can it get better? Or what will not only the iPhone 10s look like but what will all of smartphones look like in the years to come?
One of the biggest issues that hopefully will be fixed with all smartphones and especially the most popular iPhone in the future is it's breakability. How many people do you see that have a broken smartphone whether it's the screen or the phone itself in one way or another is damaged? In the future, imagine having smartphones that are unbreakable, ones where you can smash the screen with a hammer and have it completely unsaved.
Imagine being able to video chat with someone but the phone displays a hologram of them. You hold the phone on it's back in your hand and a hologram appears with the head of your best friend, mother, father, boyfriend, girlfriend or anyone you could facetime in front of you, similar to Star Wars.
One common inconvenience of modern day smartphones is rather simple. Watching youtube videos is always an inconvenience because you can't have the videos play while doing other things on your phone. As simple of a fix this is, it would make browsing one of the worlds largest video storage sites, a lot more convenient.
Considering how advanced smartphones are nowadays, it's hard to imagine what they will look like in a couple years, but all I know is that we can't wait to see it.
