Some of our favorite celebrities haven't always had a glitzy and glamorous life. Paparazzi photos quickly turned in to mugshots. Designer outfits turned into orange jumpsuits. Late nights at A-list parties turned into sleepless nights on an uncomfortable cot in a holding cell. I didn't cry when my favorite celebrities got arrested because I laughed 98% of the time after hearing the story.

Justin Bieber

I remember Justin Bieber's arrest like it was yesterday because it had to be the funniest thing I had ever heard. I wasn't shocked at the news of his arrest because during 2014, he really began to change and act very out of character from the "One Time-Baby-Somebody to Love" boy we all knew. His interrogation videos might be funnier than the actual mugshot.

David Henrie

Around a year ago, The Wizard of Waverly Place star was arrested for bringing a gun into an airport, making it his 2nd run-in with the law.

Jared Padalecki

Supernatural and Gilmore Girls star Jared Padalecki's arrest is the most recent - he was arrested in Texas on Sunday following an altercation at a bar where he's a regular.

Shia LaBeouf

Everyone's favorite Stevens family member was arrested for disorderly conduct, obstruction, and public drunkenness in 2017.

Reese Witherspoon (and her husband)

Bend and snap! Reese was arrested in 2013 for disorderly conduct after her husband, Jim, was stopped (and then arrested for a DUI).

Mitchell Musso

This has to be the one who broke my heart when I found out about his arrest. Mitchell was arrested in 2011 for drunk driving.

Phil Lewis

Bet you didn't see this one coming. Before he took on the role of Mr. Moseby in the Suite Life series, he was arrested for manslaughter back in the 90s after killing a 21-year-old girl while he was driving under the influence. (Also, there's no mugshot of him anywhere on the Internet for his arrest).

Chace Crawford

Wakey, wakey Upper East Siders - boy, do I have a story for you. Everyone's favorite playboy Nate Archibald found himself in a bit of a pickle.

Chace Crawford was arrested in 2010 for possession of marijuana and his mugshot honestly looks like it belonged in Gossip Girl.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
