Rupi Kaur is an up and coming poet. Her first book titled Milk and Honey has gotten a lot of buzz in the past month. Although this book was released in 2014, poetry has become a nation-wide "trend" and hobby. Every young woman should read this book because it has a lot to do with loving, hurting and healing and how to deal with it.
Everyone struggles with something, especially received hatred. But Kaur shows that it isn't rock bottom, just a new challenge.
This piece shows that people will be different than you thought and will surprise you in the best or worst ways. She shows how people can only show a part of them that they want you to see.
Obviously not actually shattering, but she's talking about heartbreak.
This one especially shows that even if you think you're overreacting, everyone grieves differently and you're entitled to what you feel.
