Midterm Exams As Told By 'The Office'

Midterms are coming and stress levels are off the charts. The only way to get through this tough time is obviously by watching "The Office" or looking at "The Office" memes! It's the most relatable show during stressful that will definitely calm your nerves and realize everything will be OK!

Here are 10 quotes from "The Office" that perfectly sum up midterm exams:

1. "I have a lot of questions. Number one, how dare you?"

My reaction to when the teacher is done reviewing and she asks if anyone has any questions.

2. "Sorry I annoyed you with my friendship."

When you have given a kid in your class all the homework and quiz answers and the one time you ask to study with them or get answers and they ignore you.

3. "And I knew exactly what to do. But in a much more real sense, I had no idea what to do."

When you open up the test to the first question after studying for hours and you still don't know it.

4. "I. Declare. Bankruptcy!"

When you're ready to drop out of school and start over because midterms suck, but you realize you're broke and can't do anything with your life now.

5. "Everybody stay calm! Stay f*&#!#% calm!"

When the teacher says the test is cumulative and will include all assigned readings.

6. "I wish there was a way to know you're in the good old days before you've actually left them."

When you're in the library and you're on your 12th straight hour of studying and you start to reminisce on the first week of school when you had absolutely no work.

7. "I am running from my responsibilities, an it feels good."

When you decide to take a nap for one hour in between studying.

8. "Should have burned this place down when I had the chance."

Definitely not appropriate, but I am sure we have all thought of this for at least hot second when you are sitting in lecture and the professor won't stop rambling on about photosynthesis.

9. "I stopped caring a long time ago."

When it's the day before an exam and you decide to watch Netflix instead of finishing studying.

10. "I understand nothing."

Pretty self-explanatory.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
