If I'm wearing anything Michigan related (which I'm not going to lie, is basically 90% of my life) there's almost a guarantee that someone, somewhere will show their excitement through the much loved "go blue" shoutout.

1. Precipice Trail, Arcadia National Park

Yep, as we were on a nearly vertical cliff passage, a shout from below got our attention - and of course, we sent the love right back.

2. Merida, Mexico

I was volunteering at an animal shelter that is definitely not considered tourist territory, yet one day walking from my hostel to the shelter someone out a car window yelled "go blue."

3. Teacup Ride, Disney World

I couldn't believe it, I honestly think it saved me from throwing up out of nausea because I was so caught off guard.

4. Kayaking, Pictured Rocks MI

We were on the water where there were maybe 5 or 6 people in boats passing us every half hour. Still, an older gentleman yelled from his canoe "go blue" a distance away.

5. Going in for surgery, Miami FL

I had to get my appendix out, and who would have thought my surgeon was a die hard Michigan fan.

6. Rome, Italy

We were in a tiny bread shop, and I was sporting my favorite Michigan cap. Someone tapped me on the shoulder and said "I like your taste in hats" and was basically wearing the same one.

7. Columbus, OH

Funny right? I was in line at a sub shop and someone hollered "go blue" across the restaurant - I'm surprised we made it out alive.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.
