The first lady of the United States, along with her husband, Barack Obama, has given her final speech. It’s a great pleasure to deal with two phenomenal icons that have made history by not only being the first African American couple to rule the White House, but led a legacy with grace, class and certified laws that have done well for the past eight years. History will look at Michelle as a classy, undeniably beautiful woman who has set out to be a fashion icon as well as a politician.
For someone that is only a First Lady, Michelle Obama has given many powerful speeches over time. The world wouldn’t have been healthier if the FLOTUS didn’t launch her "Let’s Move" campaign. She has a strong connection with health care and she has used her propensity for fitness all around the country to help cure the national obesity rate.Mrs. Obama was a caregiver and she always tried to communicate with her fellow people as First Lady.
With a great personality, Obama also had style. As a First Lady, Michelle would always walk into the Oval Office with beautiful, classy gowns and floral dresses. Her signature accessory was always a pearl necklace. Obama's very first speech was in 2008. During that time, she appeared simpler and sophisticated by just wearing a teal shirt with jeans. It's been quite a transformation over the past 8 years. However, it was all just an upgrade.
Mrs. Obama went from dressing in a simple blouse to wearing very chic evening elegant wear. This year, she has left her role as First Lady with a glowing look and an updo for all to see.
For critics to say that she is just a monkey in a pair of high heels, I ask, what would you say to the new First Lady? Michelle Obama's preppy style has left females all over the nation (especially in the African American community) inspired.
Another example of was from her cultural dress for the state dinner in 2009.
She used her style to deliver a message, that she is accepting ofevery race and every culture in the whole wide world. Michelle Obama uses cultural appreciation the right way and appreciates the value of her country by simply being humble and open. Therefore, leadership and originality makeher America's trendsetter.
Her final speech outfit was a gorgeous red dress made from Narcico Rodrigez. She left it with an unforgettable quote saying, “Do not let anyone make you feel like you don’t matter… because you do.”
While this speech is leading to Trump's entry into the White House, we will always remember Michelle Obama’s grace, intelligence and beauty on the face of America.
