Every person has a favorite show, whether it is "Friends," "Dexter," "Breaking Bad," or "That 70s Show," that has been binge-watched on Netflix once or twice. My favorite show happens to be "The Office."

In my personal opinion, it happens to be one of the funniest shows I have ever watched. It is always a great go-to when you are stuck trying to find what you want to watch on Netflix. There is not a single episode that is not entertaining, and who makes the show? Michael Scott. He has countless times where he just actually had me rolling on the ground laughing, so picking just twelve times he made me laugh was tough.

1. “Dwight, you ignorant slut!”

The most iconic insult from "The Office" was when Michael said to Dwight, "Dwight you ignorant slut!"

2. Michael's hatred for Toby

When Michael openly expressed his hate towards Toby by stating,"If I had a gun with two bullets and was in a room with Hitler, Bin Laden and Toby I would shoot Toby twice."

3. “Why are you the way you are?”

When Michael is having a conversation with Toby, and Toby said something and Michael looks at him and goes, "Why are you the way you are?"

4. “That’s what she said”

Michael's go to comment anytime someone would say anything in appropriate would be, "That's what she said!"

5. “Boom! Roasted.”

Michael decided he wanted the office to have a roast of Michael Scott. He ended up taking it super personally, and came into work the next day and roasted everyone in the office.

6. When he mistook Dunder Mifflin for Hogwarts

The one time Michael mistook Dunder Mifflin for Hogwarts and said, "The worst thing about prison was the Dementors. They were flying all over the place and they were scary and they'd come down and would suck the soul out of your body and it hurt!"

7. Poor bra demonstration skills

Michael tried demonstrating on how to take off a woman's bra... and let's just say he did not do the best of jobs demonstrating.

8. Michael and Dwight's rap ‘Straight Outta Scranton’

Michael and Dwight decided to make a rap for Dunder Mifflin, and well it was pretty catchy if I do say so myself.

9. Bros before hos.

When Michael says “Bros before hos” Bros before hos. Why? Because your bros are always there for you. They got your back after your ho rips your heart out for no valid reason. And you were nothing but great to your ho, and you told her that she was the only ho for you. And that she was better than all the other hoes in the world. And then suddenly... she's not yo' ho no mo'.

10. Britney Spears or Lady Gaga?

When Michael is just sitting in his red convertible and mistakes Lady Gaga for Britney Spears.

11. Michael it is not a hate crime

In the one episode where someone leaves a stain on his carpet in his office and it has an appalling stench, and he claims he is a victim of a hate crime.

12. The best and the funniest saying of all time is when Michael looks straight at the camera and goes “I am dead inside.”

The best and most relatable saying of all time is when Michael looks straight at the camera and goes "I am dead inside."

So Thank you, Michael Scott, for always filling my life with laughter, and for being on one of the best shows ever created.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
